This educational-creative teams’ competition is organized under the EU-granted project “Capital Cities Collaborating on Common Challenges in Hazardous Waste Management - Yerevan, Warsaw, Tirana” (NEAR-TS/2019/412-943) in collaboration with the Yerevan Municipality, aimed at raising awareness and enhancing citizens’ participation in waste prevention and improved management.
Participants are required to form a group of three and, with guidance by a supervising teacher, prepare a Competition Entry, which shall:
- draw attention to a particular problem with household waste, including household hazardous waste, existing in the city and highlight the subsequent risks, and/or
- present an idea for a solution to a particular problem related to household hazardous waste, including household hazardous waste, or incentivize citizens to proper behaviors and enhance good habits in waste segregation, including proper household waste disposal.
The type or form of the Entry might be chosen freely, according to the idea the team comes up with, the work must only meet some technical requirements. All the information about the Competition and progress is presented in the attached documents. Entries may be submitted until 8 May 2024.
